Some might call it criminal, in particular if one looks at the demographics of the last 3 years- who’s been pushed out regardless of proven qualifications, skill, or time/loyalty to the company vs who’s been brought in regardless of lack of experience, necessary qualifications, or known failures in prior similar roles- especially when combined w certain public statements made by a certain CE0.
Furthermore, one doesn’t successfully run a Fortune 50 company by onboarding their besties and yes-men only. Yet this BoD is allowing it to happen AGAIN!!
Rabid Groundhog Day…
The BoD entire MUST be held accountable!
Wouldn’t be shocking to see class action suit(s) at some point. Patients, customers, former marginalized employees, shareholders. Have to hand it to them though- STUNNING how quickly a few were able to take down and cripple a once wildly successful company.
“Just today we met with a supplier and the entire other side of the table was all Caucasian males. That was interesting. I decided not to talk about it directly with [the supplier's] folks in the room because there were actually no female, like, levels down. So I'm going to place a call to him.” CNN, 2015
Would love to find and hear from some of these people that invested in walgreens and how they feel on their money losing nearly 70% the last five years, How about the employee's working for this Walgreen's company, with the low morale, unethical company that doesn't pay their taxes, gets sued non stop, and some of them even invested in Walgreens stock while working through all of that. That's a double whammy working their and having their stock.
Fire Tracy Brown!
It really is insane how everyday is a new low
