Employee Survey

The harassment around these employee surveys are ridiculous. The more they ask if it's done the more it makes me not want to do it. But, I did it, didn't score anything above a 2. Anyone else’s team harrass you on a daily basis? Emails, teams messages, team calls, on your 1:1.

It starts at the top, your manager and their manager all the way up to the VP are berated daily that not enough people have filled out the survey. They generate reports and it puts those manager on a sh-t list. Then the only thing those managers can do is the cascade emails down to individual contributors. It’s a pain in the a-s. They do this for everything by the way including the security updates, new initiatives, etc. That’s why when you continue to get bombarded it’s not really your managers choice as they are likely being berated too.

Sales director here - I always ask my team to support the survey. I’m now part of a combined market with over 5 direct reports so I will see my teams trends. I’m asking bc I still feel like I can help make positive change. I may be the outlier but growth does look at the results, my experience has only been positive.

At this point, I’d make it a point to submit a complaint to the employee center. Cuz they wanna be petty and waste company resources, well damñ it I will too right back at them

I'm not even there anymore, I just come here for the laughs after how badly I wad treated during my 13 years there. I never took the survey and the more they asked the more I dug in and didn't.

Gosh, those surveys are a joke. In my 9 years, every time we took them, we would have a review of the results with all the teams that reported up to my bosses boss.
The entire meeting was basically spent praising the good results and explaining away the poor results.

Just remember, your yearly bonus is based on a scale of 1-5 with no one ever scoring a 4 or a 5. 3's all day long for these surveys!

The employee survey is mandated by NCQA. It is part of the certification process. So they would not do it if it wasn’t a regulatory requirement. They have to show they care what you think. But at the end of the day it’s just another checked box. So if anyone thinks they care, this company is more apt to retaliate than anything else if they have low scores.

Don’t skip it. Fill it out and give them
Bad marks on everything then. What do you think they’ll feel more?

Why do you give them the satisfaction? This is the first year I did not fill it out. I refuse to anymore. They can shove their 100% response rate.

Yes. I’m on a few email distributions for survey participation reminders, and all participation rates were much lower than last year. That’s a sign.

My understanding is department leads get dinged when employees don't respond. The crazy part is they just push that unhappy employee into hating on them even more. They all count on the a-s-kissers to keep the scores up.
