Basically need to know if I should use it or lose. Really doubtful that these mo--ns would honor basic severance etiquette, but would like to know for sure.

You should receive it BUT you will have to stay on top of it… as well as any & everything else. Be a squeaky wheel! Some things came through fine, others were like pulling teeth🙄
Yes, even their separation processes have become embarrassingly unprofessional and half baked.
Hopefully you are already looking…??
Best of luck to you!! 🍀
Yes, the company is a dumpster fire but I think they got this part right. I was paid what I believe to be my unused PTO.
Any unused PTO has to be paid out in full that is also if you have any frozen PTO as well. The only PTO they will not pay out is Frozen sick PTO and I am sure most people don’t have that now unless you have around 10 years with the company now. I know how much PTO I have and when I do leave I am using that to help me and my family when it comes time. Only thing is I have 120 sick frozen that I will probably never ever see any of that paid out
Unused PTO is supposed to be paid to the employee when an employee leaves Walgreens. Also, depending on how long you worked for the company, make sure you don't have any PTO that was frozen (should show in Kronos if hourly) when Wag changed from old vacation policy to earning time off as you go. That said, check with HR and stay on top of it. I wouldn't trust Walgreens to follow proper etiquette an anything. Good luck and know there's plenty of better companies to work for out there!
