Is the company doing PIPs anymore?

From what I heard in meetings, it sounds like the managers will have to sandbag 10% of their teams to earn brownie points with corporate.
20% in my group.
I am glad I left GM when I could. GM was a hellhole then. Sounds like it’s a snake pit now.
Mary just doesn't respect the employees, and thinks we're not smart enough to see through it all.
"Why is there no attrition at GM? The work culture seems to have hit rock bottom!"
the economy is cr-p, the media is lying (as usual)
we are in for a reckoning
I'm still not past MB calling her own employees "cave people."
It has been building up, but its to the point where I'm no longer proud to work at GM and really could care less about issues and quality. Management has done about every conceivable thing to demoralize the employees. A problem of their own making.
Yes its hard to find jobs in Michigan. Its hard to find jobs anywhere. If the demoralizing was to get people to leave sans severance, it appears mgt lost the plot.
Good luck with the Cruise, EVs, pay-to-play console apps and software defined bloatware. Almost all of us do not believe in the direction the company is headed and apparently our ceo loathes her own people.

Yes. PIPs are still being done.
GM wants to get rid of more people as usual.

Odds are they will get rid of more people for really stupid things.
