Found out Qualcomm’s employee retention programs prime strategy is to have their employees overwork so they don’t have time to find a new job.

Ask to go remote and stick it to them where it counts
Re employee retention, WLB, working at night to interface with global partners: Too many around the world think workaholism is noble. It isn't - we have simply all lost our way, and are now trapped. Retirement seems like the only escape.
is that like the southern plantation retention program
Well, when they layoff some hardworking people that’s not retention.
Qualcomm culture is sweatshop green card culture.
"edge AI company with Q stock >100% gain in a year"
What specifically is an edge AI company? That sounds like vague propaganda.
You think the stock market is attached to reality?
Well I do admire people that jump before they look.
Interesting how a bunch of lazy realtors with only PowerPoint skills morphed Q into an edge AI company with Q stock >100% gain in a year. Maybe they are very efficient at work. Leetcode 'engineering' had its shelf life. Now it's actual engineering in the limelight
"By this post Q has a areospace culture of lazy people looking for a 9 to 3 that don’t invent anything and are late and over budget on everything they do. I am hoping it can change"
I think they work as part-time realtors.
When the clueless ceo makes more than 100 times what an engineermakes, you are already in clown world.
If you think people asking for good WLB want to work 9-3, you must be working 9 to 4 or 5 and thinking you are the hardest working employee. If you were at CSE/Company All hands you won’t make this stupid statement calling people lazy. Some teams have to work late night with overseas teams. Don’t be sad, work hard
So sad. By this post Qualcomm has hired a bunch of people that threw away the foundation of Q’s culture. In its glory days Q was a start up of innovative people looking to build the next big thing. By this post Q has a areospace culture of lazy people looking for a 9 to 3 that don’t invent anything and are late and over budget on everything they do. I am hoping it can change
wait, when did you believe Q was a good ethical company
