When will Walm employees ever figure out they must ban together and form a Union? They rip their selves off and can never blame the company for their own st-pity.

It’s not hard to spot the exaggerated posts of the union people on here. Of course, we all know it’s a load of bull. And by the way, Sam never made any kind of statements that are being referred to here. Sam was a man that believed in hiring from within and giving everyone an equal chance to move up the ladder. Years ago he’d jump in his truck, bring a dog and go hang out at the transportation shack. Drink coffee, eat donuts and talk to drivers about what was good and what was bad about the company. Those days might be gone, but Sam believed in everyone getting ahead because of hard work and being honest and caring about associates. The spirit of that still lives.
Wal will be union one day it is easy to see. Yes, it is true many employees never graduated high school and are viewed as less wise. But remember this same kind of group girted up decades past and were the foundation of high Union pay, benefits and early retirement. Getting past fear and intimidation come first. Second finding out you have protection just for attempting to unionize. Organizer's will know to seek the Union for a plan of action and advise.
@Anonymouse I was at his bedside when he whispered this, moments later he had passed. Wonderful memory.
Sam Walton wanted to unionize Walmart on his death bed after having a vision quest of cheap offshore labor destroying a dynasty
Walmart will continue to illegally interfere with union organization amongst their ranks because they are big enough to get away with it, though there will probably be a day of reckoning at some point.
Terrible company; terrible employer
I do not need a union to speak for me. Unions do not prevent layoffs. Check with your president!
Union agitators get on here from time to time to spout their nonsense. Just ignore them. They’ll go away.
They're moving those jobs to Topeka and people can transfer (with a bonus), but also Sam's Club is taking over the Johnson County facility so they have the option of working for them. Hardly the worst "layoff" ever.
News to me that unions prevent layoffs. Must be magic.
*midst. Not mist.
Thats what they said about UPS decades ago but the union did get voted in. The UPS drivers make about $49.00 per hour with benefits paid. Walm employees with no union? Peanuts. Believe it or not there are some wise Walm's in the mist. It is just a matter of how long they want to crawl around in a non union pit and give their money away.
There is no way a union will ever get into Walmart US. Never. You’d have a better chance of walking to the moon.
