Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

Frankly, I'd welcome it

If I receive the call today, I'll be perfectly okay with it. If they gave me a chance, I'd even volunteer. I feel bad for those of you who are worried about today and I hope all of you remain safe. I know plenty who feel the same way I do, so maybe we'll all get lucky and get our wish.

Surely they are not pompous enough to lay us off right before a National Holiday, are they? Well, not so fast. I heard of three layoffs just this morning. Maybe not layoffs, but strategic terminations, if you will. Was it Way? You don't say? I just may, go to the bay, make some hay, and where's there's a will there's a way! We're all effed!!!! By the way, Epstein didn't hang himself and all the rumors you heard about the former VP HSE "pe---r with ears" is 100% true - AND STUFF.

I am a SWNer, I have been loyal for many years and want off this ride these days. There are too many unknowns and it seems like management in my department has checked out, but the expectation for good morale and to keep busting our tails is still there. Who wants to work for managers who dodge you in the hall and can’t even say hi when they pass. I am better off finding a new employer that shows respect for their people. Good luck to all, we have till October to keep playing this game.

Not everyone is getting that deal, big buck. Only you big wigs who su-ked on Mr. Ways toes for all those years and stuff. Keep up your laser focus!
