Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Not sure what we expect

The HR department, for the most part, is inexperienced, especially leadership. They don’t know how to properly conduct a layoff that is professional and respectful. Good luck everyone. I really mean that.

Just wait. This is only part of the STX, BV, and other oil play divestures. Just wait for the merge to come around. I’m looking forward to the all hands meeting where Nick tells us how important we are and how we are the chosen few to keep this dumpster burning. How sad he is to have had to make this decision that impacts really hard working good people and how this reminds him of his triathlon days and how we should all buy more stock in the company because of how we are underrated.
