Congratulations to all the SVP population who were magically promoted over the weekend creating more D to D layers! Well done you have truly made a difference to the organisation.

Certain people got Director effective Feb 1. That was based on last year's promotional cycle, and Outlook was updated to reflect this.

There has been another round of "promotions".

I know some of these promotions were communicated at year-end, just never updated in the system. Not sure why the delay unless they just wanted to do it after the layoffs. However there was also no year-end mail announcing promotions like there were in previous years. Sketchy all around.

So they increased the wage bill and the head count of higher grades, but terminated staff still have not received severance?

Are regulators paying ANY attention to what Citi does, when & how?

SVP becomes D? In some teams there was no level reduction, these will increase the level even more in those cases. What's happening

Several SVPs with C15 titles were upgraded to DIR this past weekend. It was only a "partial" promotion in a sense. Unconfirmed as to whether these people had to go through the formal promotional approval process. The whole thing is a bit absurd the way they do C-levels and then titles, but whatever.

I saw at least two people have gotten it in Risk. No announcement. Does anyone have details about what happened? Not saying it's a bad thing.
