Truist is requiring 4 day in office work for hybrid workers. News flash you are not really hybrid when 80% of your time is in the office. Given the large reduction in force initiative that has been ongoing since Truist was formed; this is just a way to reduce headcount.
Truist has had a mass exodus first from heritage SunTrust teammates, then heritage BB&T teammates , a early retirement program, and RIF in early 2023 ,sale of the best Insurance business in banking and another reduction in 2024. Why would talented people work for an organization that does not value their long term work.

Get on board. Back to the future. At least we are not required to wear business formal suits and heels.
This is really quite simple Teammates. During the pandemic you were needed and necessary to keep the world running. You were empowered and got it done. This is corporate America retaking control of the work force. There will still be fully remote work. It will be the be exception not the rule. You better have a specialized skill set that this or any other corporation needs for WFH. You better be good at it also or you will be forced out in the future.
"More than 2.2 million square feet of office leases were signed in the Atlanta area during this year’s first quarter, the most activity to start a year since 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, according to data from real estate services firm CBRE."
^From an article I read in AJC today. Seems to be a big shift for companies to start going back to offices in Atlanta this year
The only big benefit to working here was the remote option. Once that's gone it's time to go out and look for real money cause you won't be making to much of it here. Also, these "leaders" should be there front and center when every one goes back. Lead by example!
Growth, purpose, culture, progress, they forgot delusional and stupid!
"As we continue to prioritize the focus on long-term growth, we believe our best work comes from being together," the spokesperson said. "In alignment with our purpose, increasing in-person interactions allows us to reinvigorate a connected culture and continue building on the progress we’ve made."
yep, Chuck Jones III posted it.
The gentleman who made this post on LinkedIn is a former time executive and hSTI. In another comment he stated Bill Rogers was a nice guy but is over his skis. First time I’ve seen a former C suite exec publicly say the truth about Rogers.
This is a Linked In post and I just saw my executive leader who ordered us back in liked it. WTF is going on.
They hate all employees. Can't imagine anybody choosing to work here.
Hey anonymous…..this looks just like a LinkedIn post I read.
In fact, it’s a word for word copy
If you actually show up at the office four or five days, you are the du----s.
It’s weird we were just informed that our dept has been outsourced and it will moving to India. We will be out within a couple of months . We were told we were to come in 4 days in May by management and now has been delayed to Oct .
