Layoffs

Layoffs happened today across Optum. Cut anywhere from 20-35% workforce reduction.

For Optum Home & Community..(Landmark/HBMC). Does anyone have any insight into the Social Work Manager positions and what will happen with them? Will they be eliminated, demoted etc? If anyone has any information at all it would be greatly appreciated 😢🥹. Yesterday was one of the worst things I have ever experienced in my entire career.

It's business not personal.. er it's not business, it's politics where incompetence is rewarded and accountability is water boarded.

IESNP is dead. All sales and business development laid off. Leaders have no idea how to run this business and everyone suffers….. unbelievable! Doesn’t it make more sense to bring in leaders that understand the business and can grow it properly? Not eliminate people that are willing, passionate, and capable to be successful

In SCC I heard they laid of 5 business VPs, all the Senior CSM, several CSMs for restructured being offered to move to a different division ((Home based care), Lots of PER/PARs.

Someone in Florida told us all the IESNP programs are going away except 4 states. Their VP and DCO are horrible every time someone talks about them.

Loyalty and longevity doesn’t seem to matter. Nether does hard work and good MAP scores.

I’m shocked at being handed my walking papers today. 7 years of blood sweat and tears, unending support and devotion were repaid with a so long, good luck.
