Neo is not the type of application as with Concur.
And don’t get me started on the joke of Click mobile / Maximo

Not just IT where this occurs. and not just enbridge either. public / private sector execs have become addicted to consultants.
Remember - you are hired to do a job if you choose employment with Enbridge as a non-contractor / non-consultant. It is not your role to tell management what to do, even if they are in error or being mis-lead.
Besides - who really cares about these apps anyways? Just use them ... if they don't work ... who cares - not your problem. They can't fire for you for cause if the tools they give you don't work well.
As it relates to Travel / Credit Cards - not your card, not your money, not your penalty to pay if bills aren't paid. If you struggle with it - just tell your manager/director/VP that the tool crashes all the time.
problem solved.
Does anyone have the courage to stand up and rein in IT, the fraudulant hiring of friends and preferential contracts, the waste, and the pet projects? Their budget is absurd and if they aren't constantly hiring, they're sneaking in consultants. Fire every executive that weighs in on their projects and budget and let a half dozen of us in operations take it over.
AmEx is sure proud of it but they need to update it where it’s more user friendly. It could be a good application but it isn’t at the moment.
TRUE! I just used it yesterday for the first time and it’s terrible! Why do we keep changing to things that are worse?!? It’s like job security for the people that have nothing to do but spend time on changing systems and process. We claim we save money on the systems and new process, but it creates so much chaos and worse systems that take more time of the people using them that it costs so much more in the long run!!!
I liked Neo the one time I had to use it...
Concur wasn’t great but it’s better than “NEO”.
