In August I was informed while my team was informed separately without me.
They did ratings in certain decisions weeks ago. For instance SCC rated all the senior CSMs and other jobs being eliminated
Landmark is eliminating people then flushing in people from other divisions with positions eliminated

If your boss is getting cut they don’t share it as much
my management had no idea. they were all also let go. My ENTIRE management team. I do not know who to report to in two weeks.

As a manager, no idea. Told that morning this is going to happen. Senior directors definitely knew though, are involved in meetings on whether profit is being made, how to cut staff, who etc.
My manager was called into a meeting five minutes before they let me go. She had no idea
My manager told me she was informed on Tuesday.
Depends on the manager. When it happened on my team, my boss did not know until after. Another time I’m aware of, they knew a couple days before but they were the one actually doing the firing.
They had ZERO notice. People were even called on their personal cell and told while on PTO

One of my direct reports was let go and I was notified after she was already gone. Had no idea.
