There will definitely be more layoffs in the U.S. Talk to employees still there. There is a lot of worry and panic over there, for a reason.
First US 10% then India 10%, then US 15% in Oct. The US will get 2 whacks of the stick. Any one want to bet?
The article is fine. First 10% in the US, then 10% in India. But when they hire back, it will be 1 in the US for every 5 in India. In the meantime, the problems won't go away. You see it now in all the Indian lead big tech companies. They exist for the bureaucracy of friends and family, but only run on fumes. Every few years you scramble things to hide the measurables. HPE is a lucky, big scramble that will buy them another 5 years.
