Rivian just cut another one percent of its employees. In the grand scheme of things, this is one of the smaller rounds but when you put it all together, Rivian is shedding employees at an astounding rate. I feel so lucky I didn't accept an offer I got about two years ago. I feel bad for all of those who have to deal with never-ending layoffs.

There’s not too many people that have been around more than 4 years but in this round someone I know personally who was there 11 years and it was her first job just got cut. Needless to say she knew all the senior executives but her position was eliminated and it was pretty specialized in legal so it’s not like there’s another job there for her. What pi---d me off is she left nice comments on LinkedIn when announcing she’s open for work
