Heard that layoffs are coming to distract from earnings. People will be let go starting with contractors. Does anybody have more info?

Rumors of Directional & SDL being replaced or phased out. No immediate lay off but it's just a matter of when. Supposedly SDL has been on thin ice for a few months now as well as Directional.
Heard last Thursday rumors of layoffs starting in MFG North Belt Facility. As usual starting w temps/ contractors and areas w/fading production numbers. Surprised to hear Mfg. was laying off. Either way this is the same ole song&dance here at Halliwhacker.

Hopefully they realize they can buy their equipment cheaper from a third party and shut down the plant in Duncan for good. About 75% of the plant is lazy and worthless. Promoting spouses of managers and supervisors is as bad as hiring for diversity.

They already did some layoffs in their private jet department. See previous thread. As an investor, I’m a little concerned that they are blowing money on private jets when SLB and other competitors do not have this expense.
So the same thing they do every year?
