We got an email from CK as expected, followed by an email from ANZ MD office. Does anybody know if termination emails for ANZ started? Any idea of numbers?

If you're a low T-Level and do not have much experience you're probably going to be pretty safe. The sad thing with corporations these days is they value cheap resources over talent and skill. The impacts of losing good workers are never easily measured and can then be discounted as a cause of future poor performance. SAP could run perhaps with 50000 staff globally if you pick the most talented, but it's never that way.
Getting a promotion in SAP to high T3s or T4, just puts a red dot on your back, unless your buddies with the managers making the decisions on who to cut.
I would expect many very talented individuals will be hit, flooding the local ANZ market already full of Google and other similarly talented Tech individuals looking for work.
T4 here, sydney office. Just had the MR for tomorrow with manager. Labelled as private 'Business update'. Shes been cancelling my 1:1's for the past 2 weeks...
They started Concur Australia. T4s started getting meeting invites with HR. Last working day 31 May. No details about compensation package, etc.
This is expected to be announced by 30 April - most likely in the ANZ Town Hall
