Thread regarding SAP layoffs

I slept for about 2 hours total

This is going to be a "fun" day in more ways than one.

Couldn’t agree more with the post about putting together your own “post SAP plan” or you could call it “life beyond SAP plan”.
I suggest you focus on what you can control: Update your resume, update your LinkedIn profile, write down what’s most important for you to have in your potentially new job / role, what tasks do you enjoy the most versus hate the most , which ones give you energy / satisfaction and which ones drain it, start looking for those opportunities.
If you need help with any of those tasks / questions, leverage the resources available to you - family, friends, but also mentors or coaches (free at SAP, confidential and incredible resource as it connects you with people like you and me: coach and mentor finder in SuccessMap)
I hope this helps, sorry to hear it is impacting your ability to sleep.

Top tip: Get a post SAP plan together - in the event you are affected by this shambles. You are better than the individuals who conjured this mess up, don't let the them get you down, you've done nothing wrong. I assume you are qualified to do what you do? So the good news is there are many organizations who will welcome your skill set. How welcome? That's up to you and the plan you put together. Sermon over.

I don't think you should lose sleep. If this starts looking like DEC's slow collapse, you'll be better off if you're tossed out the door now.

As someone who got project 23’d, there is life after SAP as unsettling as the current sh-t show is.

Good luck all. I found booze helped me sleep…

I really cannot focus for sh-t on work today. Based on this thread I am not the only one feeling stuck waiting for something to happen. What an a-s situation.

Not good. According to them, the run way is until Q1 2025.

How are the rest of you dealing with this? Any tips on how to reduce the anxiety?
