Hello I am a technician from the south Chicago region and was laid off today, 2 months severance with benefits.Manager confirmed its because of the restructuring.

Lol so the main branch manager P.M told all the workers in Chicago that if they didn't like working at diebold they can all leave, 1 transfered to tenn,another gave no notice and left and everyone else is looking. that squad is gonna be all new people again.
Know techs 38, 36, 28 years, laid off. Disgusting.
ya 2 months bro, sorry to hear that and I hope you find something quick. I was gonna transfer to indianapolis but sad I can't. we have 2 tr techs, and like 6 firstline in south chicago. hope the best for you amigo.
2 months severance? I'm a FL in Indy Metro and only got a 4 week salary continuance. My manager told me the company is trying to cut as much cost as possible and run with a skeleton crew. 3 months ago they started a hiring freeze despite our area already being down 2 technicians, then one of our TRs went on an indefinite medical leave so we're down 3 techs, then 2 months ago they put a ban on overtime.
