Just wonder what trade unions exists in Fiserv.
I know about works councils in Germany which I think are technically trade unions, just different name and I think there is one trade union in Slovakia.
What about remaining European offices? Does anyone know if there is anything more?
What about outside of Europe?
With so much negative happening it is disheartening that there is not trade union in every location fighting for bigger share of massive profits and better working conditions.
I tried to get something started, even reached out to some external resources. In the end everyone was too scared to step forward and put their name on a list. I understand why. But that fear is what will keep a union out. Mgmt doesn't even need to try beyond that inbuilt fear factor.
In the US, any attempt to form a Union will get that location closed down. But Fiserv has put all of their employees in a few locations. That puts Fiserv at risk for union activity. But with most employees being new hires, it is less likely that they can get organized.
As first post mentioned they already exists in Germany and Slovakia Fiserv locations. Clearly it is not impossible.
Trade unions will never happen for a a Fiserv.
