Just read that all SAP buildings will have security provided by AI robots, made in China and programmed by North Koreans. This is the AI portion of the layoff. Don't upset the robots, they are licensed to deliver a smackdown on any dissidents. If you try to file for unemployment they will visit you at home and deliver further beatings.
@xna+1s31hGDh actually you will only know that you weren't part of the 75%. You might still be part of the layoffs to be named later...as late as Q1 of next year.
Probably means don’t ask for the next 3 days. After Wednesday, manager should be able to confirm if you are safe because by then all impacted in NA and Canada would already know.
still confuse with the part "Please do not ask your manager if you are impacted....". Didn't the promise back in January says the news would come from direct manager? or am I misunderstanding something?

There was an email from US side that said they are trying to notify everyone impacted in the US within 3 days (so that it doesn't drag out).
This sure increased my motivation and morale.

What do you mean "notified through AI"?
The 3 days is not clear. Is it everyone impacted notified today through AI today, and then meetings scheduled over next 3 days, or that you will find out sometime over the next 3 days?
The call with manager and HR is basically a monologue from SAP and a chance for non-answers to questions.
@tos+1s31hGDh They cannot legally let go of people without compensation. They will face lots of issues with lawsuits. Where have you heard this from?
The three day timeframe may in place to ensure that HR is not overworked with all of the layoff meetings. Meetings, that I am sure will be very stressful and emotional for them!
Ppl say they want to enforce 3 days in the office and monitor till end of they year. 25% will be let go without compensation for not complying with work requirement.

Even on their high horses they must know that this is effects people greatly. The mental strain they have placed on their employees have lost all respect for upper management. It is clear they do not have a single thread of decency and to leave 25% open until Q1 of 2025 is not being transparent, it is being bullish. This is not a company that cares about their employees.
