Thread regarding Amazon.com layoffs

Jassy: "It's probably not going to work out for you"

Of course it isn't!

With almost 4% core CPI inflation, and no wage increases, no RSU grants, AND a speculative stock price that may tumble again (think lawsuits, massive attrition, GCP, Open AI), why would it work out?

And denying 300,000 corporate employees an average yearly RSU grant of $10K - that's about $3B yearly in corporate robbery to open a few new datacenter that in turn rob customers. Pure lunacy!

It's always humoring to see governments talking about raising rates, property owners raising rates, grocery stores raising grocery prices, and then finding that a particular employer keeps comp flat the whole time and applies meager increases otherwise. Way to go Amazon! Give Jassy that forced Blue Origin relocation to Mars. Then hire someone who can lead innovation and grow Amazon without all the gravy/fat.
