Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Sioux Falls officially closed

As of 6:00 PM today the Sioux Falls office is officially closed to associates. Only the critical facility crew are allowed to remain. Significant layoffs this week. More are scheduled throughout the year.

Good luck to all the associates we lost recently. Both those who were laid off and those who found better jobs.

Good luck to all associates who are now temporarily remote.

Good luck to the few associates who are remote "permanently".

Happy start of retire to those who chose to retire.

Good luck to the few who decided to move to Lincoln. We really do wish you the best.

Good luck to the new hires. We understand the impossible challenge you are about to face.

Good luck to our customers. I hope your lawsuits go well.

Fiserv senior management. You have now entered the "Find Out" phase. I hope you get a lot of feedback on the effectiveness of this strategy. Perhaps the results will impact future decisions?

I enjoyed working with people in the Sioux Falls office. I only got to for a couple of years. Great set of people there. Good luck with your next steps. I won’t miss that Progress software though.

Sad day. Not only for the employees left trying to hang on, but for the clients running a zombie product that basically has no support or future. I'm sure c-suite is prepping for a pressure campaign to migrate precision clients to whatever core they want to prioritize at this moment (subject to change on a whim of course). Just shows how much they "care" as anyone who has been through a conversion knows it's about as fun as a root canal. Great leadership lol.

I was recently laid off as well. I wasn't from the Sioux Falls office, however I was remote after Fiserv closed our office a few years ago. So much talent let go over these past years, very sad for the clients as they will struggle the most. Best wishes to all, we are better than this company and the way we’ve all been treated.

In its prime, the Sioux Falls campus was the best “Center of Excellence” in Fiserv. It was growing and expanding. Everyone was in the office every day “collaborating”.

Then Fiserv corporate slowly ki-led it off, and now it is dead. By the end of the year there will literally be one knowledgeable US employee per department (at best) left. With 430+ clients running on the Precision core, it’s going to be “interesting” how this all shakes out.

R.I.P. Sioux Falls campus (and Precision core) :(

In all the companies I have worked, and the different divisions within this company, Sioux Falls people were consistently the most dedicated, knowledgeable, willing to follow through to help clients - and each other. The loss of not just knowledge, but the client relationships can never be regained.
Godspeed friends. For the forced retired, laid off, moved to another site, now on the road, newly remote, and those who left already, you are the best in what you did. I hope the future is kind to you.

There are no "permanent" remote associates. It's only a matter of time until either you get replaced or the division is shut down.

Good luck SFalls former associates! You were some of the best Fiserv had - you’ll line up your ‘next’ and it will be so much better than Fiserv was for the last five years.

Wishing you all the best!

...the few associates who are remote "permanently"... because fiserv can't afford the severance and successfully called JG bluff.

  • lawsuits go well...I got the popcorn ready.
