Before DEI we had the same stuff going on. That old line is getting older.

Anybody who says DEI is not part of the problem is lying. Hiring people based on skin, color or gender instead of hiring based on aptitude and experience is part of the reason they’re in the condition they’re in as a business.

You hire the best person available, not based on the color of their skin. DEI It’s not giving you the best workforce. to say otherwise is lying.

Boeing tried to get all their older employees to take a voluntary layoff or get a layoff during Covid and then not recall them.

The bean encounters are Boeing think they don’t need senior mechanics and engineers. They think they can hire all these people with no experience at the bottom of the pay scale and meet the same production targets.

It’s just illustrative of the epic mismanagement that is typical at Boeing.

This isn’t even a new airplane design. They’re trying to make production targets with. We’re talking about a derivative of a 60 year airplane having these kind of problems. After 60 years, the production line should be as smooth as humanly possible. To have these kind of problems is unheard of.

Maybe the plane maintainers were DEI?

This is an operator maintenance problem compounded by using obsolete Boeing airplanes designs that are a challenge to properly maintain.

Boeing's problem is more insidious...lack of experience and knowledge to competitively develop and manufacture aerospace products compounded by 25 years of leadership solely focused on their own personal wealth generation above all things.

This is a bad link but to the OP responding this is not a dr-g problem but a systemic breakdown of communication with management and corporate policy and federal policy on safety and quality of our building disaplins. You can also stop with the DEI scapegoating. It serves you no purpose anymore and frankly you have beat it to death. It is now time to solve problems and you division mindset is not part of it. Thanks for bending an ear. Have a wonderful day.

But this plane was built before DEI. People back then were doing as much dr-gs as now though.
