Here we go again with Easter closure. Can't wait to see how I make up for about 20% of my pay. As usual, they claim to find the hours so we can still be paid, we shall see.

No problem for Melvin to shut the door on Easter. It is historically the slowest sales day of the year.
This is truly hilarious. One of our supervisors has a ton of knowledge, brown-nosing to eventually get an ASM position, yet said today don't we get Easter as a paid holiday? Wow, unbelievable. There are only two paid holidays per year -- Christmas and Thanksgiving -- yet this insanity came out of his mouth.
And the hours continue to get cut... Just wait for the real slowdown...
Stop complaining you little pu--y’s work your way up to be a ASM so they can fire you in a mila seconds
Easter being a day off is a recent thing which is why it's not recognized as a holiday paid day off. Lowe's only recognizes Christmas and Thanksgiving, which is why for those two weeks we have three days off instead of two.
Easter, you will have just the regular two days off, unless you're part time which will be more likely to have a lot of days off since part time is always cut first for hour management.
I'm very thankful I no longer have to request Easter off to spend time with my family on the celebration of our Lord's resurrection and our salvation.
God bless and peace be with you all.
Can I get an amen...Amen! God Bless
God Bless indeed, and spend time with your family, our fearless leader would want nothing less. ROTFLOL
God bless!
You'll have to take a holiday, or work many days to get back on your schedule if you're full-time. Take the holiday. What a sad company to try to get you to use your accrued time off. Pathetic.
They give with bonus, take it back with the usual BS.
Long ago and far away in Lowe's Land, Corporate actually did care.
More and more glad I punched out for the last time in January.
Got tired of them paying lip service to being there for the employees.
