It evident that Mary wants to transform the culture similar to silicon valley. Remember folks that her duty as a CEO lies to the shareholders, and not the employees. This reorg has been a major disaster so far. I can only hope things get better from here on. Still not sure though what this reorg is accomplishing because if the talent isn't there at all levels, especially at Director and above levels then progress cannot be made. I still see a quite a lot of old school Directors just at a different location now. If they failed at the old role, what makes them think they will be successful in their new area? The people who have it the worse as always are the working level, i.e. managers and below. They don't have any control over any decision making, but yet they are effected the most. Everyone above that is just playing politics, doing lip service, playing silly games, and most importantly milking this cow with their own self interests in mind.

In the near future, the American car market will feature Mexican-built Chinese EVs with Chinese brand logos directly competing with Mexican-built Chinese EVs with General Motors logos. The quality will drastically decline as the price wars escalate. And of course, our electric infrastructure can't support it, so electricity will be bonkers expensive.
The big transformation will be more and more consolidation in Warren as tens of thousands of people are let go. SAIC-GM-Wuling will take care of the engineering. Okay?
