There have been a few fake IPS accounts but where i the real IPS to give an analysis? They are always spot on.

Cengage is not a blip on the EdPub landscape. Cengage is a major disrupter in the EdTech space. A vertical which it not only defines, but rides on the bleeding edge of.

People posting here are so weird. IPS is simply a former employee who was 1) paying attention while he was employed there, and 2) knows how to parse a quarterly report. It is relatively easy to predict where a company is likely to make cuts and how they'll go about it, which is what IPS does well. My hat is off to the dude, assuming they're male. I'm not interested enough to do a comparative look at Cengage's cash on hand, but it is interesting and fun to keep loose track of. Cengage is more a slight annoyance in the competitive EdPub landscape than anything else at this point, for those of us still in the biz.
Safe bet since the fiscal year ends in 10 days.

Probably just not a lot of news right now. Layoffs a couple weeks ago. I have reasonable knowledge that we won't see any more layoffs this fiscal year, but I won't claim to be an insider. Probably wait until after the selling season, maybe sales gets obliterated.
