Thread regarding Experian layoffs

Expect more offshoring

Experian is busy migrating legacy software systems to AWS, including their coveted Credit Reporting platform. They will be getting rid of their staff next as they offshore more and more folks. Sadly, Experian is not a place you want to work if you want job security…they work you to death, and burn out their staff because everyone is replaceable. Experian is a British owned company. The Brits have ruined what was once a great company that took care of its people. Everyone has a target on their back and can lose their job at any time. What did you expect from the Brits?

@5zxik+1lWXZUT7 is correct.

Idk my friend is a contracted graphic designer for them and makes 6 figures while working 2hrs a day 5 days a week remotely. I guess it just depends on the department

New management is horrible and has destroyed the company. It was a great place to work 10-15 years ago.

They have been outsourcing and off-shoring for 15+ years. Layoffs are an ever present looming threat even when economic headwinds are not in effect. The workload doesn't just disappear when they layoff workers, it just gets redistributed to whoever survives the cuts leading to overwork and burnout.
