leadership - must replace a new laptop with no need to reconfigure the proprietary apps.
Leaders - who can do this?
Team - they were let go in the previous RIFs
Leaders - can W$$ Pro@ step in?
Team - it’s leadership decision, why don’t you go ask them?

But leadership was assured that their offshore consultants and staff could handle anything that United needed!

Whatever happened to Sarbox (Sarbanes Oxley Act) that would actually hold leadership personally accountable, including criminally?
The leaders of Optum RIFed the Change Healthcare knowledge workers who were older and higher paid, setting us up for this cyberattack. Now, we have to worry about whether US protected health information will be leaked on the web. Extortion? Who knows but the leadership of United/Optum must be personally held accountable else this will continue to happen, crippling our healthcare system even more than it’s been slammed by this occurrence.

You get what you pay for and don’t get what you don’t pay for. What you got when you decided to CUT is foreseeable and an example of Karma. Could not “have happened to nicer people,” bless their hearts as we say in the south.

I once asked an executive, who was laid off 4 to 5 years ago, if united ever researched ANYTHING prior to implementing. He replied that he'd like to say yes but alas, they don't! Easy to spend other people's money and feel no shame when the consequences are a failure - I guess. Awesome stewardship team!
