Boeing wants to spin off their defense business into a separate company, but they can’t find anyone with those kind of financial resources who would be interested in a failed business like BDS.

In-flight breakup of 787s is coming for sure. Don't know if the Boeing company will breakup. It really should be shuttered to protect lives at this point but there is so much corruption and greed so doubt it will until after more lives are lost.

There are already better Defense and Space companies than Boeing. And Boeing has lost its expertise in designing and manufacturing large transport airplanes too. What the US really needs is a new and innovative large transport airplane company similar to what SpaceX accomplished for Space transport. It would be foolishness to spend US treasure on Boeing. The US government should sue and recover as much as they can from the Boeing leadership that destroyed Boeing to profit themselves over all things.

So true. The U.S. has become a vast monopoly. The small time companies just get gobbled up to do the bidding of the master company.
