Overseas leaders pushing US out...

This is what has felt like... a hostile take over. My history has been as a very high performer in the US for over a decade with many high level awards. I feel like I have accomplished amazing things here. Well... my job was moved overseas... and I was moved to a team with only overseas leadership. Just got my worst EOY of my career. Was told I was doing good, but with a new role they couldnt give me a full bonus. Literally took away from my bonus. How demoralizing. This year has been awful with a never ending feeling of this leader setting me up for failure in a very passive aggressive fashion... While I feel lucky to have a job... how can I stomach working, knowing all of my extra effort is in vain. I guess my stance now is to look for new work and hope I get lucky with some the leverage that I'm still working... and try not to worry so much about getting cut... I assume many of you are going through the same type of cr-p.

90% effort then...let the others do the other 10%

Managers in my org were told that they could not give 100% bonus to everyone. Some members of the team have to get 90% bonus even if they have done outstanding work. The 10% of the bonus is then to be given to others.
I got a good bonus this year but I know next year I will get the 90%.
It su-ks but that’s the way they work it. I don’t think it should be a reflection on your work and next year will be different.

It’s the worst having an overseas boss who is resentful you make more than him
