Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

So what you are getting laid off..

I was laid off 6 months ago. Got a nice severance and found a new job with the same salary working remote. Didn't lose a beat. Heads up, get your CV ready if NA doesn't want you there is a company that does and will appreciate your hard work and contribution.

Jobs are there you might have to take a salary reduction but you will get it back after a year. The only ones I know that haven't were deniers who thought they would never get laid off. The only ones I saw who are still there that were not laid off or went on their own accord are butt kissers or deniers who think NA will return to its old glory.

Terrible product management and directionless leaderships are bleeding this company dry. The ones who always end up suffering are the worker bees. NetApp must be seen as a resume stain because all of my and my peers applications are rejected. Feel free to drop where these great opportunities are OP, because the job market is a disaster. There's plenty of engineers that would be willing to jump ship to join your team.

Really? I know 5 that have but I mean they were all in IT. Sales and the admin staff might be another issue. If they were laid off and haven't found new work then they are either not looking or unemployable which in that case NetApp was justified flushing them away.

Lucky you, there’s folks from the first layoff that made the news that still haven’t found jobs.
