Merck laid off about 50 people in MRL IT on 2/21. Nobody knows the exact number because of the extreme secrecy around it. People were off payroll on 3/6.
MMD will be this month with who knows how many more.
They said that there will be continuous rolling layoffs going forward. Anything that is not a priority will be defunded and the staff released.
