Live less than 5 miles away, still working from basement.
What's wrong with it. You accepted offer letter that asked you to come to office if you live within 50 miles.
If you live more than 50 miles away, you can work from home.
Field based Sales will still work from home - you should be with Customers.
If you don't meet Customers then you should have an office based role.
This really isn't hard
