Sysco is on its way to complete centralization as record low service levels continue and waste is rampant. The corporate greed has lead to a company the does not value people employees or customers.

The number of people in high level positions at the GSC who know absolutely nothing about foodservice is astounding. The most basic foodservice concepts and terms need to be explained to them. As far as the exec team, there’s only one person with field experience, and unfortunately he’s built his entire career on one thing and that is cutting expenses.
The more they fill upper management positions with outside hires, the worse this problem becomes. CVS boy has REALLY ramped up this horrible way to mismanage a company.
