Boeing Union IAM, to negotiate a 40% raise in the next contract. Will this generation of workers Strike? A lot of these kids are already saying they would scab because they can’t afford to strike lol

I believe the Union went on strike in 2008 & it lasted 8 weeks. The average lost of salary for employees at that time was around $7000. If the union was to authorize a strike for this contract, calculating in inflation, that’s abput $10000 for an 8 week strike also. I won’t blame anyone if they don’t want to strike. $100 can’t buy you sh!t at the grocery store nowadays.
