Spread out any pay. Consult your financial friends.

Nobody else has either. Read the documents and retain a lawyer to review. The package offered, in Ontario at least, is not all it's cracked up to be. Further, if you're in Ontario don't believe the deadline date, it's bs and you have up to 2 years to sign and accept. Get a lawyer no matter what. Anyone who accepts what they offer without legal consultation are nuts.

Typical misunderstanding of how the Canadian political system works. So off base and mis informed it’s laughable.

Ah yes just what I always wanted, to live in the commonwealth, kiss the king or queens a-s occasionally and listen to Trueadu tell me how bad of a person I am. You can keep your socialism, thanks.

Blame that on the governments you elect. Low taxes have consequences. No labour protection and no health care.

In the US, you wait on bended knee for the great ones to bestow upon us some crumbs.
I wish we had the same worker protections Canada has........

Then you obviously don’t read your package. In Canada you would have 8 weeks termination pay and paid regular until Apr 25. Last pay will be May 10 which will include your statuatoy severence. Then you had to elect how to get your common law severence. Either all in 2024 or spread out over 2024 and 2024. That all assume you signed it back.

Read your documents.
