For those folks from XTO that accepted the offer to go to Spring, Tx, did Exxon gives you a relocation check and would you be willing to share what it was? Was it a % of your base offer or did everyone get the same lump sum amount?

There’s no “check” … it’s all reimbursed at cost with selected vendors … very little difference by CL
Exxon bases relocation benefits on your CL. They basically just pay the cost of the move up to a maximum amount and help with realtor fees. There isn’t any sweetener. There isn’t any consideration for walking away from a low interest rate mortgage into a high interest rate mortgage. The service to help your wife find a job is a joke as well. They just sent mine a link to the monster.com job board.
