Heard HQ was hit also? Can anyone confirm? Are layoffs finished?

The exempt number was 247 total to date on the last round. They do this every few years as a way to curb "costs" associated with older, experienced employees. This has been a business practice if Berkshire companies for years. They regularly do the same thing at other popular Berkshire held companies. Its basically legalized age discrimination that is protected under the guise of "cost control" in order to increase the bottom line for the Berkshire shareholders.
How has Igoe survived this? Attendance guidelines - a major sc--w up, worst service issues in BNSF history - ask STB, worst operational efficiency in the industry by far, clueless on operating department, has to ask others. Any other COO would have been gone long ago.
In total, 5% of the exempt workforce - hundreds of managers, directors and general directors were walked off property this week. As said earlier, many with 20+ years. Looks like layoffs are done (for now). Potential of some higher profile retirements soon. The rest is up to increase in freight volume.
Yes virtually every department was hit at the HQ. Apparently Buffet wasn't pleased with only 5.8 billion in profits. This came from above KF in my opinion.
I have a solution, terminate that mo--n Katie Farner, who’s never worked a craft. It’s ALWAYS fire the little guy to ensure the millionaire and billionaire class get more. I absolutely despise FNBS Railway. Bunch of out of touch elites making life terrible for us, the ones who make them BILLIONS!
Fort Worth had exempt reductions in all areas...unofficial number is in the 80+ range at all levels...many with 20+ years of experience...
I hear there will be 1 more round. It will hit ALL crafts and the NOC.
But what do I know? I'm just another number paying for so called
"union protection."
