I would not be surprised if this is true and due to the reason why all Sales people (and all others within his org) are now required to work from an office (either move or get out), including leadership.
Broadcom Software leadership will disrupt VMware Sales like they did CA and Symantec.

I think this is all just a fake rumor. Not seeing anything to suggest he's gone.
Looks like Sales people got hocked badly.
Sales are using the 100% to look for jobs. Customers are not talking to us.

He'll be gone by September I suspect. His sales teams are not working and the 100% commission for the year was a foolish decision. Unless his sales numbers pick up he'll be shown the door.
Personally I think he's a phony motivator that doesn't know what he's selling. The portfolio was drastically simplified and he can't get value modeling and financial business cases to work.
Vmware sales were always useless. And poor performers
I just heard about this Friday. A few reps have said it but didn’t think much of it. Would be hilarious if he went to nutanix but doubtful.
Not sure how you can judge he is a poor performer after 1 quarter with so many changes going on. If he is leaving, I highly doubt it is performance-related. Sales is allowed to wfh, as Hock has stated.
Broadcom is no place for poor performers or work from home directors.
