Macy's is excepted to announce the 1st round of closures the end of May.
G.O.B. will start Mid-June and will last 8 to 12 weeks. The affected stores will be shuttered by either late August or early September.

Just close all of them … this is like watching a slow death .
Store managers were informed over a week ago whether or not their store would be closing in the first round and managers shared the information with store employees via a prepared script. Is it possible that managers will be informed of additional first round store closings before Macy’s makes the list public?
Original poster knows nothing. Once they announce the locations, G O B starts the following week on Monday
