EUC office location

Any guess on the new office location for EUC people in the South Bay Area?

There is an empty building in Atlanta. Would save KKR some more money.

EUC is moving out of the Atlanta office too. Hock either wanted too much to sub-let the space or EUC decided they wanted nothing to do with Broadcom, which i suspect is closer to the truth. Won’t be empty though once Hock calls everyone to the new Atlanta Broadcom hub.

Also, everyone needs to get out of the mindset of KKR owning EUC. They don’t want to run a company, they want a return from their investments. They are not interested in the day-to-day running of the company so they don’t care about where the office is or how much money they can save by doing xyz. They will not be looking for a headcount reduction. Now, that’s not to say that there won’t be one, but there makes no sense for there to be one after the close. Look to maybe 6 months out for the first trimmings.

EUC won't need as much space once the KKR headcount cuts begin. It's inevitable

I just hope it is right next to a Caltrain station, preferably along a major bay bike trail, to encourage green commute.
