Throwing CHC under the bus to save Optum reputation?
How much more pathetic does it get?

It was only the CHC products/ systems/ servers affected- not Optum’s. Weaknesses were in CHC infrastructure and access. Massive technical debt ignored and limped along, ultimately resulting in this hack.
Had this happened pre-merger, CHC would have gone belly up. As it is, only Optum’s deep pockets, platforms, PEOPLE and systems have kept CHC viable.
What about WIPRO - Neil handed them the keys years ago with that 10 year 1.3B contract.
Change dropped the ball. This is all about change.
Change Healthcare sold its soul to the devil and the devil can do with it as it sees fit. Change Healthcare leadership made millions dancing with devil. No one to blame but them.
Exactly!!! This is not a "Change Healthcare mess." Change healthcare was acquired by Optum/UHG. It's employees are all Optum/UHG employees. Many leaders were victims of the layoffs. All of the IT structure is under Optum/UHG not leaders from Change Healthcare.
They are only saying Change Healthcare because it's a spin to divert the regulator attention off of Optum/UHG. This fact needs to be made clear to all of the newspapers and reporters covering this.
This is a Optum/UHG mess caused by their greed. Let's get that straight out of the gate.
Business partners? You mean customers? They have been leaving for months. Many providers do not want to even accept United Healthcare as an insurance plan. Can you blame them?
Had the Optum/UHG Executive leadership NOT gut Change Healthcare's IT Leadership, then we may not have been in this predicament. But they just didn't care. They got the data they wanted (and so did the Ransomware/Cyberattackers. LOL - - When they Riff'd the IT executive leadership who were exemplary professionals well schooled in their skills, the teams were left without knowledgeable leaders, the areas were left with diminished team size due to layoffs. Whose fault is that? It is clearly the fault of the penny pinching executive Optum/UHG leadership who were more concerned with shareholder value. It's greed!! Now they are praying the price for their actions.
This is not the fault of Change Healthcare; it is the fault of Optum/UHG, this is greed.
THIS IS KARMA - you get what you give!! Now they can pay the massive legal teams they had to hire, the Cyber Professionals, Palo Alto Networks, Mandiant, and you can add to that Class Actions, Loss of Customers, Reputational Harm, Strict Regulatory Oversight, Fines, Penalties, and regular monitoring, not to mention payouts for Credit Monitoring for all those whose information may have been stolen and compromised in the data hack, which apparently included sensitive information including Social Security numbers. It's all coming to bite them... and let's see who is laughing now.
Those of us who were part of the layoffs are so darn glad to no longer be there! We've got a great seat from the sidelines. KARMA!!
Really? Damn
