Even TSMC is out Intel cannot fab anymore advanced chips. No more job openings. Government money is for construction work.

We do have a few openings, even though we told upper managers that we don't need to hire more people as we don't have enough projects..
Still, last week, we interviewed a few candidates from central America and a few from south east Asia... Why??
Now, I understand upper managers are thinking about their own survival and could use them as buffets if there's a need to cut.
