I read the beginning of the form where they layout what they’re doing and why.
They’re listing securities that they intend to sell in order to raise cash up to, but not necessarily totalling, $100 million. The securities include debt securities, stocks, etc.
The issue is that 2U’s entire market cap is like $34 million. So they can’t max this out with just stock. So they’re going to sell bonds.
It looks like they’re going to try to sell debt to make the balloon payment next year, or at least setting themselves up to be able to do so.
So what does this exactly mean?
