Buy, Purge, Buy, Purge, Bump (cyber attack), Stall, Buy (discount), Purge, Buy (discount), Purge, {continue}

Cards are stacked. A lot of ways and excuses to find a way to $675

Good luck with that $675 price target. You can only fire so many people to artificially boost profits on a financial statement before someone bad happens. Maybe, something like a massive cyberattack that jacks up an entire nation’s health care system for weeks. But that’s just me.

Up over 12 points today. UHG will buy up medical clinics that are in trouble because of “Change Health” failure. Then rebrand “Change Health” and say they fixed all the woes. Then go back to making money like always.

When you own the clearinghouse, networks, clinic, etc. a problem in one area is an opportunity in another. No way to fail.

Just a drop in the bucket due to how big UHG is. Again too big to fail. Others on the board are ignoring how a UHG failure will impact other powerful people. They won’t let it.

Regarding the cyberattack, Fischbeck noted that Change Healthcare represented “just a faction” of UnitedHealth’s overall earnings — about 2% of earnings per share — so it is “very unlikely” that the issue will hurt the company’s results.

Just a bump in the road - UHG is too big to fail. Others won’t let it - too much at stake.

Fischbeck reiterated his buy rating on the health insurer’s stock UNH , which he said is now his “top pick.”

His $675 price target — which makes Fischbeck the most bullish of the 28 analysts surveyed by FactSet who cover UnitedHealth — implies roughly 41% upside from current levels.
