Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Layoffs seem to have slowed down

I'm starting to feel cautiously optimistic. It's gonna come back to bite me in the behind, isn't it?

Have you NOT seen any horror movies??? Friday the 13th? Freddy Krueger?? Layoffs are like those horror monsters; you think it's over but they come back alive.

Here’s an idea. Pull up your pants, so your job and manage what you can control. All these posts about “what if…..?!” are useless.

Layoffs are (and always were) an integral part of this executive team’s management philosophy. It is who they are.

Any slowdown in layoffs is nothing more than a temporary pause. Anyone expecting job security, fairness or a supportive work environment is at the wrong place.

Too early to be optimistic. Not even for being cautiously optimistic. We are in March. Quarter ends, and I won't be surprised if we see posts here by mid month.
