This is what happens when you let nepotism run deep in your company and only care about short term gains. Sandeep and his cronies are clueless, of course this was blamed on phishing. When faced with a real issue they run around like chickens with their heads cut off. They should know their place not to talk on this and stick to what they know best - ruining families of good workers with random layoffs.
So after 30 minutes, they still didn't cover how the attack happened, how it was resolved or how the company will stop this from happening again, given all the people with legacy knowledge they've let go.
Wow, just wow! Nothing left to do but grab some popcorn and enjoy the show...
We used to be a (somewhat) reputable enterprise but sold out to increase the bottom line. How's that comparative advantage working now? It ain't!

This weak link was reported in the IT world with the patch to fix it and of course they didn’t because they too busy laying off the staff and so they got hacked by some juvenile hacker whose reported age is 17 to 24. Maybe they should run the company.
