Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

Endless cycle of layoffs and chaos

The only thing that is sure to follow layoffs is the rest of us picking up the work for those who were laid off. Oh yes, and chaos. With poor management, we can be sure that it will take a while for them to reorganize. As soon as they kinda manage it all, we will have another round of layoffs.

Last week they laid off Recruitment managers across MedSol, Aureus & Host. Numerous managers with over 10+ years experience were let go. The culture is not what it used to be, and layoffs will continue until new CEO hits her EBITDA goal.

They might make the 10% EBITDA goal before 2025 if they slash some major accounting positions…controller…a few accounting directors and how about 1/2 of the FP&A team. Last I heard they were 3 times the size of the accounting ops team. There’s your savings!!!

CEO is hyper focus on reaching the investor’s target of 10% EBITDA by 1Q2025. That means layoffs will be revisited quarterly till we are on track for that target.

Also, outside west monroe consulting is suggesting more trim and leaner structure, which be less enterprising in nature. Start-up culture reboot here we go!!!

One fact is sure and true — more rounds of reoccurring layoffs will continue till targets are met.

Surely you can use that advanced mind of yours to describe the person without using their race or ethnicity to describe them?

I'm not shameful. If you had worked with this person in Accounting you would understand where I'm coming from. Not an embodiment of company core values at all. I'm not intending my post to be racist, but a realist. They don't need a nasty person such as that, that can barely manage staff and now not know how the processes work. Then when they question you and then treat you like you're stupid. It's the Bull in the china shop syndrome. If you are still employed by the company, don't you have better things to do with your time than peruse this post? Maybe do some work??

The seemingly racist comment about a "Russian" in accounting is not only despicable, but it is unnecessary and untrue. You are the reason this country is divided and you don't embody the whole point of the United States of America. We are a democracy that welcomes different ideas and different cultures. You Sir or Madam, are shameful.

They need to get rid of the Russian in accounting. They’d save 6 figures a year right there. They don’t need a CFO, VP of accounting, controller and 4 directors of accounting. Slash that budget you’d be saving a lot of jobs.

I'm not shocked. It was a blessing in disguise when I got laid off in October. I didn't realize how bad that company su-ked.

Yup. I know of about 3 more people since last week that got laid off (2 of them were recruiters and 1 was a client manager). Of course they're trying to keep it hush hush so other departments don't panic, but we know. Nobody knows what to expect anymore.
