Let's all remember it is not Change Healthcare that caused this but the layoff of the leaders who ran the teams, those who had the legacy knowledge, etc.
This whole situation is due to the cost cutting strategies of the parent company UHG/Optum who acquires the many companies is an effort to build their monopoly empire. Now UHG/Optum owns the biggest debacle in the US Healthcare system ever, putting patients at risk, putting providers on the cusp of bankruptcy, and creating the largest data breach in history exposing US military members and their families all over the world. Not something to be so proud of. This can all have a very long lasting effect on this nation, our healthcare, and our providers and health system.
The company deserves whatever happens to them for their utter disrespect for employees, regulators, providers, members, and customers. They only care about money; this is payback - KARMA at its finest.
